The Gaza Strip

There has been much controversy over the Gaza Strip, with the wicked Left always blaming Israel for the failure of a real solution to the question of who should control the Gaza Strip: a strip of territory in Palestine. Hamas, an Islamic resistance movement, always calls for the destruction of Israel.

Here are only five noted attempts to settle the question of who should control the Gaza Strip.

1. 1937 – The Peel Commission, headed by Lord Peel of Great Britain.

2. 1947 – The U.N. Partition, a mandate for the withdrawal of British forces.

3. 2000 – The Camp David Peace Accords rejected by Yasser Arafat.

4. 2007 – Olmert Peace Proposal by Israeli P.M. Ehud Olmert

5. 2020 – The Trump Peace Plan – The U.S. to take administrative control of the Gaza Strip.

My Comments: The real question is “What does God think about it”? Here are some insights to this question:

In 2005 Israeli P.M. Ariel Sharon dismantled 21 Israeli settlements in the Gaza Strip. On January 4, 2006 he suffered a massive stroke from which he never recovered. Pres. George W. Bush promoted this two-state plan and consequently, Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans on August 9, 2005 causing 1,392 fatalities and damages estimated at $125 billion in the city of New Orleans alone.

This morning I heard a spokesman on NEWSMAX TV rightly say this: The Gaza Strip conflict is not so much about who controls the land but the determination of the Muslims to destroy Israel at all costs. Therefore, they attacked Israel on October 7, 2023 on a Jewish holiday Simchat Torah initiating the Gaza War, firing 4,300 rockets, killing 1,195 people including 736 civilians and 36 children. How can Israel negotiate with this kind of evil? The Gaza Strip pictured below, is a 100-meter-wide strip of land along the Gaza–Egypt border.
