Going to Hell in a Hand Basket
The title of my story is not so unusual among most common people today, but it originated way back in 1682 when it was found in print from “The Weekly Pacquet of Advice in Rome” or “The History of Popery” Here’s how it read: …that noise of a Popish Plot was nothing in the world but an intrigue of the Whigs to destroy the Kings best Friends, and the Devil fetch me to Hell in a Hand basket if I might have my will, there should not be one Fanatical Dog left alive in the three kingdoms.
Is America “Going to Hell in a Hand basket”?
Having established the origins of “To Hell in a Hand basket” let me tell you why I chose this title. I believe that accounts of “Reverse Racism” are appearing everywhere from Minneapolis with George Floyd‘s death, to London recently, with the stabbing to death by a Sikh from India, of Henry Novak, an eighteen-year-old white man.
The police and the liberal press have ignored the story of the stabbing to death of Henry Novak while puffing the story of the death of George Floyd, a known woman beater and drug addict. In fact, he was high on Fentanyl when he resisted arrest, and a policeman had to put his knee on his head to hold him down. He infamously cried out “I can’t breathe” before he died. So, also did Henry Novak cry out “I can’t breathe” while he was bleeding to death from his stab wound by the lying Sikh in London. A London policeman ignored him and handcuffed him, instead. They put Novak in the police car where he bled out and died on the way to the police station.
