James Edward McDougal is a very successful Investment Banker who bumps into his former high school sweetheart, Beth Andrews at the posh Crowne Plaza Hotel in Kansas City. Beth now has a husband of ten years one Roy Johnson who ignores her and their now ten year old daughter Meghan. (Meg) Beth also suspects Roy of being involved in a money laundering scam run by the Milligan Mafia in Kansas City. When she discovers a mysterious package in Roy’s travel bags she asks James to help her figure out if it is related to the money laundering scam and the Milligan Mafia.
